Sherine El Menyawy is a Managing Associate in the Capital Markets department; a practice area of the law, where she specializes and advises clients on a day-to-day basis. 

El Menyawy has been part of the firm since it was founded in 2018, accumulating vast experience in drafting and reviewing the relevant transaction documents, as well as conducting numerous due diligence reviews on companies operating in a variety of industries. Sherine has a wide range of experience assisting Egyptian and foreign clients on diverse business-related issues and transactions, with a primary focus on securitization, general corporate concerns, and other business-related topics.

She has worked on major transactions for governmental institutions, consumer finance, real estate, and vehicle loan companies, and she participated in the closure of the first short term notes securitization in Egypt. Sherine received an intensive comprehensive training program at several top tier law firms, where she engaged in various legal transactions in banking and finance and gained a great amount of expertise in corporate and capital market transactions.

El Menyawy received her LLB from L’Institut de Droit des Affaires Internationales – Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne in conjunction with Cairo University (“IDAI”) in International and European Business (Licence en Droit International et Européennes), with a double certification in Egyptian and French Law. Sherine also graduated from the Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne with a Pre-degree Master’s in 2018.

  • EFG Corp Solution Corporate Bond issuance amounting to EGP 500 million.

  • Tamweel Mortgage securitization transaction amounting to EGP 1.56 billion

  • New Urban Community Authority (NUCA) securitization transaction amounting to EGP 20 billion.

  • Misr Italia for Urban Development and Misr Italia for Real Estate Investment securitization transaction amounting to EGP 986 million, comes as part of a wider EGP 2.5 billion securitization program.

  • GB Lease and Factoring securitization transaction amounting to EGP 1,661 million, the first program and seventh overall issue worth EGP 1.661 billion backed by a receivables’ portfolio of EGP 2.379 billion.

  • Madinet Nasr for Housing & Development Securitization transaction amounting to EGP 805.5 million from a multi-issuance program with an amount of 3 billion.

  • Talaat Moustafa Group securitization transaction amounting to EGP 1.170 billion.

  • Global Corp for Financial Services Securitization transaction amounting to EGP 1.284 billion.
