Khaled Hammam is an Associate in the Capital Markets Department, where he is actively involved in securitization transactions. His role includes conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, reporting securitization portfolios to credit rating agencies, liaising with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) on the submission of securitization files, and handling all legal aspects of securitization transactions.
In addition to his capital markets practice, Khaled has solid experience in dispute resolution and general corporate matters, with a particular focus on civil and commercial disputes. His corporate experience includes company incorporation and the amendment of corporate regulations before the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), as well as drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, Khaled gained practical experience in international arbitration, contributing to complex proceedings conducted under the rules of leading arbitral institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA). His practice is further strengthened by a strong command of legal drafting, through which he prepares and reviews contracts, legal memoranda, and related documentation with precision and attention to detail.
Khaled holds an LL.B. from the Faculty of Law (English Section), Ain Shams University (2023). He has further specialized in arbitration by obtaining a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in 2024.
